OPERATION MANAGER

An awesome position has risen for a Operation manager to join an International Telecom company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of Consortium Fiber Network of Customers in the country.

Job Description
-Deals with internal escalations and ensures resolution of these items in a timely fashion.
-Develops, tracks, and maintains network availability and quality metrics for entire route and all consortium customers.
-Conducts frequent touchpoints with team to gauge and assess performance in meeting project/departmental/business objectives
-Completes status updates on various activities and ensures tracking on time and within budget
-Troubleshoots both internal or client issues and resolves these in a timely manner .
-Proposes, documents and maintains continual process improvements to internal standard operating procedures
-Completes performance reviews of sub-cons on periodical basis and provides ongoing coaching on performance
-Proposes, documents and maintains continual process improvements to internal standard operating procedures
-Assesses internal training needs and identifies training opportunities to ensure effective performance
-Coordinates continual improvements while monitoring the regulatory environment for changing policies, processes and procedures
-Maintains materials by approving materials for usage that meet quality standards
-Leadership & Employee Motivation of Field Operations organization in a cluster
-Continuously reviews and ensure Procedures are updated
-Ensures spare parts always available for Corrective Maintenance.
-Manages supplier relationships for 3rd party spares and ad hoc services
-Provides Field weekly and monthly reports to market lead.
-Supports project managers with delivery of new Network Elements & Sites
-Undertakes special assignments to resolve Network Operations Issues.

Equipment        Industry related
Knowledge Of        CAD based design systems, GIS systems, SharePoint, ShareFile, Telecom industry
